A small selection of books that we as teachers and practitioners often have close to hand - and you don't need to buy any of these books but all are worth looking at for initial reading on the discipline and finding the kind of visual work you are interested in.

We highly recommend you get in the habit of using and reading books as well as using platforms such as Instagram and pinterest for your research. 

 Many are in the library at BCU and its also worth noting that many of these can be purchased on second hand websites.

In fact we recommend buying second hand.
